1. Purpose

This policy governs the use of all IP addresses and network services provided by RapidNet. Its goal is to ensure lawful, responsible, and secure use, and to protect RapidNet and its network from abuse.

2. IP Assignment and Ownership

  • All IP addresses are assigned, not sold, and remain the property of RapidNet.

  • Customers may not sell, lease, resell, or transfer IP addresses without prior written consent from RapidNet.

  • Customers are fully responsible for all activity originating from their assigned IPs.

3. Prohibited Uses

Customers must not use their IPs or services for:

  1. Spam or unsolicited emails

  2. Malware, phishing, hacking, or unauthorized access

  3. Hosting open mail relays, open proxies, or any service that allows third parties to send traffic

  4. Illegal activity under local, national, or international law

  5. Network attacks, IP spoofing, port scanning, or denial-of-service activity

  6. Any use that may compromise network integrity or reputation, including blacklisting risks

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Maintain security of devices and network endpoints

  • Monitor traffic and usage to prevent unauthorized activity

  • Immediately report network compromise or misuse to RapidNet

  • Ensure compliance with this policy and all applicable laws

5. RapidNet Rights & Enforcement

RapidNet reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate service without prior notice for policy violations

  • Block traffic from any IP posing a threat to the network or third parties

  • Report abuse to RBLs (Spamhaus, Barracuda, etc.), ISPs, or law enforcement

  • Investigate activity and review logs for policy enforcement

6. Liability Disclaimer

  • RapidNet is not responsible for content transmitted or received via assigned IPs

  • Customers assume full responsibility for any blacklisting, abuse, or legal consequences arising from their IP usage

  • Any damages, fines, or claims resulting from misuse of IPs are the sole responsibility of the customer

7. Acceptance

By using RapidNet services, the customer acknowledges that:

  1. They have read and understood this IP Usage Policy

  2. They agree to comply fully with its terms

  3. They accept that violations may result in service suspension, termination, or legal action
