Applies To: All customers of RapidNet.
1. Purpose
This policy defines the rules and responsibilities for customers using RapidNet internet services, ensuring safe, legal, and responsible usage while protecting RapidNet and its network infrastructure.
2. Service & Account Use

Internet services are provided for the exclusive use of the registered customer.

Customers may not resell, rent, lease, or transfer their service or credentials to any third party without prior written consent from RapidNet.

Sharing accounts with others is strictly prohibited.
3. Device Usage

Customers are responsible for all devices connected to the network.

Devices must be secure, updated, and free of malware or vulnerabilities.

Customers must prevent unauthorized access to their devices and accounts.

RapidNet may disconnect insecure or compromised devices to protect the network.
4. Cyber Usage & Prohibited Activities
Customers may not use RapidNet services for:

Illegal activities: hacking, phishing, fraud, copyright violations, or other criminal activity under Bangladesh law or international law.

Spam / unsolicited messaging: sending bulk email, SMS, or messaging without consent.

Malware distribution or botnets: running malware, ransomware, spyware, or command-and-control servers.

Network abuse: DDoS, IP spoofing, scanning, or interference with other users.

Open proxies / unauthorized relays: enabling third parties to use RapidNet’s network without authorization.

Obscene or illegal content: hosting, sharing, or distributing content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive.
5. Log Retention (BTRC Compliance)

As per BTRC guidelines, RapidNet retains all connection logs, IP assignments, and network usage data for 24 months.

Logs include connection timestamps, IP addresses, data usage summaries, and access details.

Logs may be used for network management, abuse investigation, and legal compliance.
6. RapidNet Rights
RapidNet reserves the right to:

Monitor network usage to ensure compliance with this policy and Bangladesh law.

Suspend or terminate service for violations of this policy.
-
Block or disconnect accounts or devices involved in abuse or illegal activity.

Report abuse or illegal activity to BTRC, law enforcement, or relevant authorities.

Investigate misuse using network records and logs.
7. Customer Responsibilities

Maintain device and account security at all times.

Report any unauthorized access or network compromise immediately.

Ensure all activities comply with this policy and applicable laws in Bangladesh.

Acknowledge that all services remain the property of RapidNet.
8. Liability & Indemnification

Customers are fully responsible for their internet usage and any activity originating from their account or devices.

RapidNet is not liable for any damages, fines, or claims resulting from customer actions.

Customers agree to indemnify RapidNet against all claims, losses, or damages arising from violations of this policy or applicable laws.
9. Acceptance
By submitting the signup form, customers acknowledge and agree that:

They have read and understood this policy and all other RapidNet Terms of Service.

They will comply fully with all terms and conditions.

Violations may result in service suspension, termination, or legal action.
